Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnn Kymes were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music world winning local competitions at the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album when she was fourteen years of age. The year 1985 saw her signing by Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. Then, she was invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. Her first album in a group with this group came out in 1989.
