Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of the top athletes in sports. Biles and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl when she took a field trip for day care to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for eleven years under the direction of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles achieved a silver medal at vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to the level of elite competition in the year 2011. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficulty she encountered in all four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
