Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28 1997) was an American actress and singer. Wuhrer started her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has 3 siblings. In her teens, she sang in nightclubs, sneaking out of the family home to perform. The actress studied acting since her 13th birthday at Wooster School. Later, she studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actor, model and singer. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April, she was raised there. Her mother is a payroll accountant, and her father, German-American, is a police officer and auto salesperson. Kari's three siblings are all of them. Kari sang in nightclubs when she was a teenager. She would sneak out at night to sing and entertain her friends. When she was 13 years older, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then began her studies in drama at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was aged a teenager. Her first TV appearance was on 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
